Policies

Please read the following policies carefully before registration or purchase.  If you should have any questions, please contact at contact@ateliersewingstudio.com

Refunds will not be provided for any missed sessions, camps or workshops. This policy is in place to ensure fair compensation for our time and resources, as well as to allow waitlisted students the chance to enroll in fully booked classes.

Please note the following guidelines

  • Classes are drop-off only for children, as our studio lacks a waiting area.
  • Please avoid arriving more than 5 min early. 
  • If you anticipate tardiness, please notify us in advance.
  • Transfer requests for class dates must be made at least one week prior the original session, subject to availability and on equal value within the same term.
  • Cancellations made two weeks before the start date will receive a refund, minus a non-refundable $100 deposit. 
  • No-shows will forfeit their full class/workshop fee unless prior notice is given.

Camps Cancellation Policy

  • Camp registration require a non-refundable $100 deposit, with the balance due a month before the camp begins. No refunds are available for cancellations made after May 10, 2024.
  • We do not offer make up classes, credit or refunds for any missed days. Please ensure your child’s availability before purchasing.

Make up Class

  • Make-up classes are offered once per 6 week Sewing Session, subject to advance scheduling and availability. This make up class should be taken in the same session. There are not make up classes for workshops.

Re-enrollment

  • Re-enrollment for continuing session will open during week 3 of each term. Students must secure their current class time slot, but changes may be accommodated base on availability. Automated reminders will be sent, but ultimate responsibility lies with the parent or guardian to re-enroll their student.

Photograph participation

  • To enhance our teaching and showcase our activities, we may capture photographs during classes or events. These images may be featured on our website or various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook and Instagram. If a student or their guardian does not wish to be photographed, please let us know via email contact@ateliersewingstudio.com , otherwise we assume that we have your permission upon receipt of student registration.

Inclement weather

  • In case of inclement weather, Atelier Sewing Studio follows the closure policies of Bentonville Public Schools. We will reschedule an additional class to ensure no learning time is lost.

Studio Behavior

  • At Atelier Sewing Studio, we are dedicated to fostering a secure, joyful, and constructive atmosphere for your child. The commitment of all our students to conduct themselves appropriately and engage in positive interactions is a key in the success of our programs.
  • Atelier Sewing studio maintains the authority to terminate enrollment (with tuition retained) of any child for the following reasons:
    • Persistent, controllable behavior that is not in accordance with of directives of instructors (or their parents).
    • In case of disruptive or aggressive conduct, our protocol is to call home for prompt pickup. Please note that no credits or refunds will be issued for instances where a child is sent home due to misbehavior. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in upholding a positive learning environment for all. 
    • Behavior constituting bullying will not be tolerated under any circumstances. 

Please ensure that your child comprehends the expected behavior within the studio environment.
