Kids Weekly Classes
Atelier Sewing Studio offers weekly engaging sewing classes. We have returning kids and beginners. Students learn the safety guidelines of machine sewing and learn hands-on the basics of sewing while they grow their skills sewing beginner/intermediate projects. Returning kids will sew new projects while keep advancing in new skills and techniques.
All materials and sewing supplies are included in this class (except fabric for clothes)

Kids Workshops
Intro to Sewing Machine - workshop
Kids will learn how to safely and confidently use a sewing machine to create their own projects.
Whether kids have sewn before or this is their first time ever sitting in front of a machine, don’t worry—we’ll take it step by step. By the end of the workshop, they will know how to:
Understand the basic parts of a sewing machine
Thread the machine and wind a bobbin
Sew straight lines and curves
Create a simple beginner project like a pillow, scrunchie, or mini tote bag!
Safety First!
Before we begin, we’ll go over some important sewing machine safety tips so everyone feels comfortable and confident.

Doll clothing
Let’s sew tiny outfits and BIG smiles!
In this playful sewing workshop, kids will learn the basics of garment sewing while creating adorable clothes for their dolls. Perfect for young sewists who love dolls, fashion, and creativity!
During the workshop, kids will sew simple doll clothing pieces such as skirts, tops, pants, or dresses, using colorful fabrics and fun details. Each child will leave with a finished outfit they proudly made themselves!
kids will learn:
– How to safely use a sewing machine
– Basic stitching and seam sewing
– Simple measuring and cutting skills
– How garments are constructed (mini version!)
All materials and sewing supplies are included in this class.
Bring your favorite doll (American girl doll and barbies are available for the class)
