Kids Winter Camps
Keep the creativity going during winter break! In this fun, hands-on sewing camp, kids will learn real sewing skills while making wearable and practical winter projects. Each day focuses on a new creation, balancing skill-building with imaginative design.
Our camp is designed for both beginners (learning to use a sewing machine safely) and returning students (ready to explore new techniques and add personal flair to their projects).
Christmas Break
In this Holliday camp they will learn essential foundations for their sewing journey. This winter, young makers will dive into the wonderful world of sewing with both cotton and fleece fabrics!
Kids will explore how these fabrics behave differently, and learn the right techniques for cutting, pinning, and stitching each one.
They’ll gain hands-on experience using a sewing machine safely and confidently while creating a collection of cozy, colorful projects to take home.
Material needed:
Bring 1.5 yards of fleece for scarf with hood (polar fleece, plush fleece or cotton fleece.
Other materials and supplies are included.

Start the New Year with creativity and hands-on fun! In this 2-day sewing camp, kids will learn how to sew with both cotton and fleece fabric, exploring how each feels, stretches, and sews differently.
They’ll make cozy winter projects while building real sewing skills and confidence on the machine.
This camp is perfect for beginners and returning students who want to start 2026 with something creative and useful!
Every camper will complete sewing projects perfect for staying warm and cozy all season long!
Material needed:
Bring 1.5 yards of fleece for infinity scarf with (polar fleece, plush fleece or cotton fleece.

Thanksgiving Week
Teen Sewing Workshop: Sew Your Own Fleece Coat
A fun, fashionable project that builds skills and creativity!
Step into the world of garment sewing and make something you’ll actually wear, your very own fleece coat! This hands-on class for teens is perfect for beginner and intermediate sewists who want to grow their skills while creating something stylish and cozy.
Throughout the workshop, you’ll learn essential garment construction techniques, from reading a pattern to sewing curved seams and attaching sleeves and a hood. You’ll also get to personalize your project with your favorite fleece color and finishing touches.
By the end of class, you’ll walk away with a completed coat that’s warm, well-made, and totally your own creation!
What you will learn:
Reading and following a garment pattern
Cutting and marking fleece accurately
Sewing smooth curved and straight seams
Attaching sleeves and a hood
Personalizing your coat with creative design choices
Material needed:
- Bring 2 to 2.5 yards of medium-weight fleece (any color or print you love!)
- Matching polyester thread
All other materials, notions, and sewing machines are provided.
